Like all young people, youth with disabilities should grow up expecting to work and succeed. This theme of expectation is captured beautifully in the Campaign for Disability Employment’s “Because” public service announcement (PSA), which has aired more than 112,000 times on broadcast stations across the U.S. “Because” features seven real people with disabilities who are pursuing and realizing their goals and passions as a result of the support and encouragement they received from everyday people in their lives—from family members, to teachers, to coaches, to colleagues.
